Lost my Serial Number

    Hello Acronis Support,

    I installed my new Acronis TI 8 successfully und tried to register the Program. Looking for the Serialnumber I realized, that the Envelope and all the Stuff had been collected and was put to the carbage box in the meanwhile. The only part that was available is the original CD. The Number was written at the back of CD envelope.

    Question: Is it possible to get a new Serial or do I have to buy again?

    My serial # was on the back page of the Startup Guide booklet, I don't know if this helps you but check there if you kept it.

    If you don't find your serial number on the Startup Guide please send a letter with the description what exact version you have purchased and any proof of the purchase. In your case you may take a screenshot of the "About" screen ("Help" -> "About"). We will help you with this problem.

    Thank you for answering my question. I will send a separate email to acronis support with attachments of .jpg files with the screen shots of HelpInfo and the CD.

    I've sent a mail to acronis support with screen shots on 03/07/05 but nothing happened up to now. How can I make sure that it is known as related to this post?

    Hi,

    Try downloading and installing Belarc Advisor:

    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

    In most cases it'll pull up the serial numbers of the software installed on your system. It's a very nice app.

    Hello Ilya,

    how do I send a PM? When I send a mail (with the reply nbr in the subjecct) to Acronis support I get another autoreply and I think it ends up in a nirwana...
