    Hello,

Since updating Firefox to version 29, adblock plus is starting late causing FF to become unresponsive at the start. I've removed ABP. I've been using it for a very long time.

Is there any free alternative to ABP that's as good or better? It could be a add-on or a separate software.

Any recommendation or suggestion would be heartily welcomed.:)

    Best Wishes,

at the moment I'm using Ghostery in place of ABP
with Advertising and Beacons set to block

it blocks most ads and the browser feels snappier

I've been running ABE on SeaMonkey for a few weeks now and it seems fine, and also seems lighter than ABP.

I'm using ublock on Chromium browsers, adguard on Opera, adblock+ on Pale Moon and Adblock Edge on Firefox.
