    Gurus,

The information in the knowledge base is incomplete and might be inaccurate. Have any of you created or seen a HOWTO for doing a push install?

My server is Win2K3, and my network is 98% XP.

    Thanks in advance!
    Todd

i haven't gone far enough to have specific questions yet.

Yeah the second list, is pretty basic stuff, but it can save you a headache. It took me two days to realize I didn't have the File & Print sharing for Microsoft Networks, wasn't turned on. Some of the error messages you get when trying to push a install, don't really tell you what is wrong, just a general idea. Also for anyone else who is trying this, if you are using Outpost Firewall Pro, I have found that you don't need to turn this off (if running default settings), the push will go through, just need someone on the target computer, to allow it. Outpost will pop up asking to allow the install.
