Looking for a certain thread I recall

    I was here more than a year ago after looking for an answer on how to remove a particularly nasty "bug". Anyhow, I remember a thread where someone had written a great summary on how to remove most things running different apps in different orders (in safe mode, restarting, running 3 times, things like that). Anyone help me out?
