Hi anyone know what com5.nht is?
It comes up as a threat detected with Nod32 v2.5 but its locked, the warninig keeps popping up and I can't delete it.

    "File:
    x:\WINDOWS\com5.nht
    Threat:
    Win32/Agent.NDD trojan
    Comment:
The file can be deleted. It is strongly recommended that you back up any crucial data before you proceed. Event occurred at an attempt to access the file by the application: C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe."

I'm not sure what is is but it will come up when I try and access certain programs in this case it was winrar.

Also is it normal when I run Nod32 Deep scan/ On demand scan that it can't access most files, I either get Error Opening (Access Denied) or Error Openinig (File Locked) this happens to pretty much every file on the Windows installation drive, and I'm worried that nothing is being scanned for viruses.

Thanks in advance for your time.

    Hi silm, welcome to Wilders.

Could you please check you settings against those found HERE

Then run a further scan by clicking on the NOD32 Control Centre> NOD32> Run NOD32> Scan and Clean.

Let us know how you go...

    Cheers :D

    Hi

Thank you for comment, I been this first time a forum. Anyway....

Yup, I did setting the everything control, But same problem. When NOD32 found infection still strong lock file. NOD32 can't delete it.

So, I went "SAFE MODE" and search the "nul.rvk" was gone (like a invisable file). Well...Obvious, which behind software wrote a create the infection file.

I will try disable the NOD32, I catch the nul.rvk will inspection by the Edit32.

I will touch you let know...
