I have installed locate32 a long time ago and have auto update enabled. But my version shows 3.0 build 7.7010c. The latest version looks to be 3.1.11.7100. How do I update and install the latest version? I read the help info but it might as well been written in a foreign language.

Have you tried just downloading the new version from their website and overwriting your copy?

AFAIK, locate32 is a portable program; there is no installer for it.

Locate32 downloads as a zipped file. All you have to do to "overwrite" the old version is extract the files to the existing Locate32 folder. It may tell you that the file already exists, but just ok it to overwrite any existing files. That way, you keep your existing index or database files.
