Just wondering if theres any advantage to using one over the other? Thanks!
The "service" start mode will enable the filtering sooner than the "system" one.
For instance, when waiting for user input on the logon dialog box:
- in service start mode: ping are blocked
- in system start mode: ping are answered
Yeah i thought it would be something like that. Doesn't that make the system startup option pointless?
Sometimes the service start mode doesn't work well, so System start has to be selected. For instance with FUS, there are some issues sometimes.
Also doesn't work under Vista, so System is used there also.
"Start Menu" start choice is even another option in case the two other ones are failing (for any special reason)
Separate names with a comma.
