According to https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=292458&highlight=lns.reg after clean uninstall, at what point in the new installation process can lns.reg be brought in? Do I use the merge option?
Yes. Just merge the reg, if you just installed Look 'n' Stop, even before the re-boot, simply merge then.
Phant0m, I screwed up. I didn't merge the .reg file before reboot. I tried after reboot - didn't work. Registry was not updated and Apps list in LnS was empty, even though Windows said success. So I ran Opera to make sure the key is somehow created. Ended up with 4 applications in LnS. Then I merged the lns.reg file. Rebooted. Registry is filled with my apps, but LnS is not. I can't even show any logs, haven't gotten to setup that yet. Should I uninstall and try again?
Exit Look 'n' Stop and merge the reg file. Look 'n' Stop protects its registry information from being altered by anything else while Look 'n' Stop application is running.
I'm ok now. I thought of that after posting, and it's working now. Even managed to activate the license! Phant0m, thanks for the helps you're providing here
