    Hi all.
I have Lns 2.05p2, WinXp sp2; local lan and internet through VPN connection.
How I can setup "network interface" to be protected from lan attack (when not connected to VPN) and from both lan and internet attack when connected to VPN server? I have 2 network adapters in "network interface":
1)my network card .... my internal ip address.
    2)WAN Miniport(IP) - look 'n'... my external ip address.

you need to allow VPN by specific rules.

I have same network settings. So same problem.
As I currently see LnS can be only working for Local network OR VPN connection only.
So both can't be filtered same time. I am very interested how filter both!!! Can anybody help with ito_O?

For allowing VPN you need to add rules specific for your type of VPN.
Here is settings know for me:
PPTP : open TCP 1723 for output è GRE (IP type47). You can define your VPN server IP.
IPSEC: UDP 500 in/out (seams even more 500<-->500),ESP(IP type 50) and UDP 4500 (for NAT traversal)
L2TP : Do not know exectly but seams same PPTP
PPPoE/PPPoA -do not know. Possibly drivers for it have direct access to network card so it goes beside same card and act as separate network adapter
(I mean card not same as adapter!!!!!)
