Depends on what you want and need. They're each good in their own ways for different reasons. Try 'em both and judge for yourself...
In my opinion, there is nothing better than LnS with Phantom's ruleset. Plus, LnS uses a lot less resources.
Hello. I don't know which one is better, but I'd give a slight edge to Jetico. Who said it's v1 in question here? OP says just "Jetico"... Cheers.
I'm not sure this is strictly a 'LnS versus Jetico' question, after all rule-based firewalls are only as good as their ruleset. It is important to ask yourself which program gives you the greatest potential for creating rules in because of which which you will be completely secure. There definitive answer. I give the edge to LnS, but others may not.
I used LnS for over one year and yes, I liked it but now that I tried it, I prefer Jetico as it is more configurable. I think you have to try them and see what's best for you and YOUR computer.
Both LNS and Jetico are fine firewalls. I have a lic for LNS and never had a problem with it. Currently using Jetico and very happy with it. Try both. (one at a time of course) Then decide which one you prefer.
