    Hi everybody, two days ago the internet connection of my XP system was being crippled, that most connections didn't work. It just happened out of the blue. I had not installed anything, not even any Windows update, nor I had made change to any settings.

    Then at work, I installed a fresh copy of LnS v2.06p4 onto my workstation (Vista Business), and same thing happened.

    I then checked and found that by disabling the following rules, LnS would work for me again:

    * TCP: Any other packet
    * UDP: Any other UDP packet
    * All other other packets

    (They were enabled by default, for both standard & enhanced rules sets)

    Does anyone else having the same issue recently?

    Should I leave the above rules as disabled? o_O

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    These rules are required, if you disable them, it's like disabling the Internet Filtering.

    To help you, the content of Look 'n' Stop log is needed, to know which kind of packets are blocked exactly.
    The problem could be on the local port range, but I don't understand why this range would have changed and why you would observe the same issue on two different computers.

    Regards,

    Frederic
