Renewed Linux Mail Server license - got a new userid and .lic file.
Downloaded newest AV using userid + password from email.

    Replaced /etc/nod32/license/nod32.lic with new one.
Replaced username/password in /etc/nod32/nod32.cfg with new one
    Ran installer - got this

    # rpm -U nod32ls-2.70.2.i386.rpm
    warning: /etc/nod32/nod32.cfg created as /etc/nod32/nod32.cfg.rpmnew
    Moving username/password from nod32.auth to nod32.cfg
Starting NOD32 for Linux Server: nod32derror[55890000]: Cannot initialize scannerpool: No license found.
    [FAILED]

    Replaced /etc/nod32/nod32.cfg with /etc/nod32/nod32.cfg.rpmnew.
Added userid + password to it - ran update OK.
Restart service gets same problem - nod32d doesn't start cause no license found.

    2007-02-03 08:53:53 -0500 note[5e5d0000]: Start NOD32 scanner initialization
2007-02-03 08:53:53 -0500 error[5e5d0000]: Cannot initialize scannerpool: No license found.

    Checked nod32.cfg license line:
    nod32_lic_dir = "/etc/nod32/license"

    Did I do something wrong?

Please send your lic. file to support @ eset.com. Sometimes the signature gets corrupted, especially when received via Outlook Web Access.

Had to fill out a web form to open a ticket. Autoreply sent back some links including one to get license file emailed - which I used. The new one works fine.

    Thanks.
