When I get a decent internet connection...

 

No need to wait. I've got a fast connection and the upgrade came through at 80 kb/sec. Very slow.

 

Updated my desktop and laptop! My connection is only about 12-14mb down, so I’m used to slow.

 

Except for today where I've somehow managed to connect to 5G @ about 40 Mbps, I've had download speed of 0.2 - 0.3 Mbps. I should have NBN connected Tuesday with unlimited data so I can wait until then.

 

I tried Mint 20.3 "Una" with XFCE & loved everything about it except for the fact that it ran VERY much slower than MX with XFCE -- same computer||same everything. I wonder why.

I'm going to try Mint 20.3 again, but on a different computer -- hopefully, it will like that home better.

 

I like the new Mint-Y theme, with smooth grays and black, readable fonts.

NBN was finally connected here today. Yay!!

My Mint machine hasn't been booted for a couple of months., so had some updates to do.

Mint suggested I upgrade, which I've done. Haven't played with it at all but can't see any difference so far. When I find some spare time I'll check it out.
