    Tried it out, seems pretty good, no glaring issues. Lightweight, quick, has most of what I needed out of the box. I think it'd be good on older hardware also..

    Thanks. So far i haven't tried Mint with xfce and i'm curious, i might give it a go from a boot usb.

    Yep, it's pretty nice if you like minimalistic.... :)
