Oh I realize it was an act but they had a special on the "E" channel about the stooges and the accidental injuries they recieved. Some of them were pretty serious like a ruptured spleen larry got and some broken fingers Moe got poking curly, he really must of had a hard head.

Actually, everything they did was carefully choreographed. No actual fingers in the eyes. It just happened so fast it looked like it. They were actually poking each other on their foreheads. Kind of slick I think.

I believe so but, just as bigc said, there must have been accidents from time to time. Now, good ol' Moe is digging for his buddies...

Moe will get them out too. No matter what troubles befall them, they always keep trying and helping each other.

 

Those boys have been together a long time and they do always look after each other. that is what friendship is all about.

You can't get rid of those boys with a little space ship crash or a shovel across the head. They have had much worse in the past.

~Moe is feverishly digging to free Larry and Curly

Moe:Larry, give me your hand.
Larry:You got it?
Moe:Yea, now pull!
~Moe grunts and strains and pulls Larry out of the sand. Larry loses his balance and falls on Moe~
Moe:Get off of me you lainbrain.
Larry:I didn't do it. You pulled too hard.
Moe:I did huh? How bout if I pull this?
~Moe pulls a handfull of hair out of Larry's head~
Larry:OWWW. Hey, what did you do that for?
Curly:~in muffled voice~ Hey Moe, Hey Larry.
Moe: Don't worry kid. We'll get you out. Come on Larry. Dig.
~Larry and Moe drop to their knees and start scooping sand with their hands. With every handfull of sand they scoop from the hole, another handfull falls back in. After working for hours and not making any progress-----Larry says~
Larry:We'll never get him out like this.
Moe:You don't say?
~Moe tries to poke Larry in the eyes, but Larry puts his hand up and blocks it
Larry:Nah Nah ya missed me.
~Larry sticks his tongue at Moe~Nahhhhhh!
Moe:Ya, I guess I did.
~Moe reaches down, grabs a handfull of sand and puts it on Larry's tongue~
Larry:Nahhhhh!!!!!
~Larry spits and coughs~
Larry:Hey Moe, let's use this shovel.
Curly:Hey guys,hurry up. I'm feel like a sand crab.
Moe:OK kid, we're coming. Hand me the shovel Larry.
Larry:Here.
~Larry picks up the shovel, spins around, and hits Moe in the head with it.~
Moe:Owww, Owww. Hey, watch what your doing. ~Moe pokes Larry in the eyes~
Larry:Owww.
~Larry puts his hands over his eyes~
Larry:Moe, Moe, I can't see. I can't see.
Moe:What's a matter kid, what's the matter?
Larry:I got my eyes closed.
Moe:I'll close your eyes with my fingers again if you don't help me get Curly out of the sand.
Larry:OK, OK. Start digging Moe.
~Moe digs on one side of the hole, Larry digs with his hands on the other. After a few minutes, Larry uncovers Curly's face. At the same time Moe shoves the shovel into the sand really hard with his foot and hits Curly in the back of head with it~
Curly:Oww Ow Ohh Oh oh look?
~Curly points at the shovel which is really bent from the contact with his head~
Moe:Hey, what do ya mean getting your head in the way?
~Moe and Larry pull Curly from the hole~
Moe:That was our only shovel. How are we supposed to dig for jewels now?
Curly:I'm really sorry Moe. But at least now I'm out.
Moe:Ya,I guess you are.~slap~Now get out!

BJ may have written some of their episodes, he is that old. Ooooooooo ... I should talk.

Actually, they lost their helmets when their rocket crashed against the red planet. But would it be better to lose their heads or their helmets? Hmmm, I can't pronounce myself!

 

No they need their heads and actually they are pretty smart. They got to mars.

HEY! Did they use the rocket fuel that was invented by Bullwinkle J. Moose? Remember that Rocky and Bullwinkle episode? Bullwinkle Moose is my all time favorite cartoon character!! His level of intelligence is only equaled by that of the Three Stooges!
