It depends on your local system settings, check it in your Windows Control panel.

 

In any case, if yours says 5-5-2008, then there can't be much confusion when it's going to run out...correct?

 

No matter which way you read it it's the same date. Which is it? May the 5th or 5th of May?

It's month-day-year on mine.

 

On my system it's day/month/year as it's set to English UK and not English USA.
