I just wonder if I have to download my Eset Smart Security right away or can I wait weeks or months? Since form what I understand, by clicking on the download link I will activate the license after filling in the details?

But if I would like to wait a month or so would that be OK,
I mean if one have license time left on currently installed Antiviruses for example, or will the Wilders download page be taken down within a time period?

    Thanks.

See this post for information on this:

From what I understand, you can wait. These serials should remain inactive but available until you specifically activate them.

Once activated, I believe you are correct and the clock starts running.

Okay, this may be an issue with how the serials were generated. (I am not the expert on this, so, take what I say with a grain of salt until ESET confirms.)

The ESET serials we have may be location dependant. They may be coded to only work from a North American user source.

If that is the case, all it means is we'll have someone activate them for you. You'll still get sent a username & password from them, just not automatically.

If I am correct on this, we'll have to set up a process for doing it for those effected. Please bare with us.

Same thing happened to me - perhaps the fact that I don't live in North America has something to do with it. :doubt:

    Hi
Thank you again, I got finally my PREVX:D :D :D

Just a question: how is PREVX 3.0 shelf life?

I mean, license must be activated whitin how many days/weeks/months at least?
Because I'm planning to format a computer of mine whitin 15 days/30 days and I would like to install PREVX there.

    Thank you in advance

    Hello all :)
Congratulations to the winners and to Wilders for having such a great forum and community to support it! :thumb:

You can leave your licenses unactivated for as long as wanted - if you're going to be buying a new PC soon, it might be worth waiting in that case: the duration will only start ticking down after you've first activated it.

Send me a PM if you have any other questions - I hope you enjoy your Prevx software! :)

I didn't win a prize in this draw but I'm quite surprised at the number of lucky winners posting here who have won multiple products. I obviously don't know how many entries Wilders had or what the algorithm was to select the winners, but the number of double prizes looks higher than I would have expected from a random draw.
There's no side to this question and I'm not jealous of the winners (well, just a little!); I'm genuinely curious to know if this was an odd statistical quirk or the high technology lottery draw machine got stuck in a groove somewhere:D .
Looking forward to the next contest.

Since I might get an issue trying to activate NOD32, anyone from North America wanna trade it for PrevX with SafeOnline?

    If interested email at: drakester[at]gmail.com
Trade for PrevX only, not selling it. It wouldn't be fair and it would be against the rules too.

I was planning into saving this license until my current one expires, but I don't know if it will be redeemable after 6 months from now and I wouldn't like to waste 6 months activating it now. :(

If this is against the rules, any mod or admin please delete this post, I have no bad intentions. I actually intend to avoid some hassle to myself and others.

PS: I could offer a Win 7 key if interested too. :doubt:

Actually, the license for NOD32 AV begins its validity from the moment you use the serial number, and you receive the username and the password. In the mail that i've received,it's clearly specified "You are hereby granted an End User License to use NOD32 on: 1
    computer(s) until 03/25/2011"
So,who wants to keep the license for use it later, don't activate it now.
