I'm sure PrevxHelp will tell us when that moment comes. By that time, I imagine all released products will be transitioned into the corresponding WSA version so users of existing Prevx/Webroot programs will be able to use the newest version with their upgraded current licence key. The present beta will then probably end.

You must of signed up for the Public Beta which had a 90 day license key! After that if you are a Prevx user with a valid license lets hope they had them converted before that if not you can download the Trial from here: http://www.webroot.com/En_US/products.html and use for another 30 days!

Do I need to uninstall the beta before downloading the trial?

I would do a clean install! Uninstall reboot and use the download link and key from the email of the Trial and install!

My beta is still good for 366 days. From the first beta, always 366. Could it be for life?:D

Hello TH! I got 1 day left of 90 day beta. Hold a full PrevX license. If I take the trouble of uninstalling and dowloading installaing the trial. How can I bee sure WSA will handle this license issue before the trial ends?

    Best Regards

Good question ask WSA support to see what they say? https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp?

Did ask twice about my expireing beta vs my full licence - no comment. Joe once said they would fix this. Seems they wait til last day. A bit odd.

    Best regards

I honestly don't think either Support team can say much about when the Prevx licenses will be able to be converted. It's going to depend on a combination of both the Prevx coding team and the Webroot coding team to get everything to work properly for that. Joe's already indicated that the Prevx -> WSA conversion is the more complicated matter, and considering that Webroot -> WSA isn't completely foolproof yet, I can see why it may take a while.

So the standard response in the software industry is:

    Soon.

Has the Prevx to WSA conversion process begun already? Any idea how long this will take?

We're still working on finishing the Webroot to Webroot conversion process - Prevx to Webroot will indeed be much more difficult but we'll be starting on it soon.

This is not good. I have 16 days left on my beta. After that I download the trial which gives me another 30 days. So I take it within this time frame I won't be getting my Prevx to WSA license.

I can't say for sure. There are a lot of moving parts and we're still working on transitioning the current Webroot customers which represent a much larger userbase.
