Let desktops have a secondary update profile like our laptops?

For our laptop users I have specified a secondary update profile, so if they are not connected to the Lan, they will download their updates from the internet.

If I deployed this configuration to our desktops as well, it would simplify the administration on our AV.

However I am slightly concerned that some clients could get confused and download their updates from the internet instead of using the mirror, thus using up bandwidth.

Can anyone offer me any advice on this?
    Thanks, Rob

    Hello,

Set that way, every time the clients look for an update (hourly) and find none available at your server, they will then roll over to the secondary profile and then go look to Esets also.
