I get a lot of complaints from users on the day that a complete system scan is scheduled. Is there any built in way to make this less intrusive?

If not, can you incorporate something into nod that is similar to what diskeeper does? Diskeeper runs only using idle time slices using their InvisTasking technology(say 'ohhh, ahhh'). They also have an option to suspend defragmentation during disk i/o, and then resume when the disk is free.

Hmmm , if you want your users to have completely silent scan , make them configure NOD automatically clean/remove threats found and also enable Silent Mode in NOD . This will do the job right now :thumb:

No, not a silent scan. A scan that impacts performance less.

ESS supports running scans with lower priority in the background.
