Good Evening ! Just subscribed to Fiber connection ...and wondering if there are any inherent dangers in leaving my modem on constantly ! The modem in question is a Alcatel-Lucent Cell Pipe 7130 model. Anybody have any experience with the modem and useage. Sincerely...Securon

I don't have any experience with that specific modem but all network and computing equipment should be able to run 25/7/365 - as long as properly ventilated.

Good Afternoon ! Many thanks for your advice Bill Bright. I also went to DSL Report Forum and was offered the same advice, that it can be connected 24/7,as I also have IPTV installed as well. Many Thanks...Securon

No problem. We have to remember that computers and networks are designed to be up and running 24/7.
