    Governments have been ringing this bell for years.
    What a shame they have absolutely no knowledge of how the system works.

    "child sexual abuse material" is always their entry argument. Yes, we all abhor that, but, obviously, you can't find that material unless you examine the entire contents of every message.
    And that has always been - and forever will be - the elephant in the room.

    endorsing the inclusion of wording in the law that protects end-to-end encryption from being weakened
    And there we have it.
    They want to scan messages that are protected by end-to-end encryption that has not been weakened.

    The ability to do this would rely on technology not yet invented.
