Lavabit alternative in this (FREE) price range?

    Had a chat with the rep. I understand they show your IP, it is to prevent SPAM. But even he told me I'm feel free to use TOR or a VPN to hide my real IP.

    So yeah, the previous poster was right, they are pretty clear about their policies at least. If something is not clear, just ask them. Customer service staff is very knowledgeable.

    What I don't like is that they - can - read your mail.

    If you pay your email is encrypted. I am a pay-for lavabit user, using hushmail gets a lot of questions, lavabit is generally more accepted and can be encrypted if you are not cheap and pay the 8$ a year.

    That's cool, too. And any other options as well for $ a year? I am just shopping around first.
