    Interesting and somewhat plausible. But I still don't expect we will see this soon, if ever.

    I don't know about anyone else (and we'll never see it anyway in our lifetime), but it would turn the PC world upside down if a new entity dropped on the scene to rival them all.

    I'd like to see it but I don't expect it. I know in the past various other countries outside the US claimed they were going to make their own OS and nothing ever happened.

    This article actually makes sense, because I don't think a lot of people will like this Windows Cloud stuff. If let's say Ubuntu can become just as user friendly as Windows with most of my favorites apps working, then why wouldn't I switch? I wouldn't switch to macOS, because Apple is too expensive. But I hope M$ is smarter than this, because they would ruin themselves.
