    Hi,

I have TI 9 v2302 currently installed and have several months of good incremental backups in my Aconis Secure Zone. I now wish to upgrade to the latest version v2337, but I was wondering if I had to recreate the Secure Zone during the installation process, thereby losing my backup archive? Is there a way to keep my backup images when I upgrade?

Many thanks in advance for any help received,
    John

You will have to uninstall B2302 and then reinstall B2337. I recomend you create another full backup, without using the secure zone, on another hard drive or to CD/DVD. There is a bug in the B2337 installer that requires you to uninstall the old build first.

    Hello John,

Provided you just uninstall Build 2302 via Windows Control Panel "Add or Remove Programs" before updating to Build 2337, your SZ (and the image) will be left intact. Remember to create a new bootable rescue CD after installing the latest build ;).

    Regards
