The latest start menu to replace the Windows 8 Metro Screen is called RetroUI - from Thinix Software.

Its not free - cost is $4.95 for a single computer; $9.95 for up to three PCs. The company offers a 7 day free trial period before a required purchase is needed.

Its just not copying Microsoft's approach but implementing a Windows UI the way users want and need. For those who want a user friendly approach to Windows Metro, this could be a godsend!

It is just another version of metro, but with a start button. From the looks of it, it is meant for screen touch products mainly, not for desktop PCs, but someone might like it.
