I'm experimenting with a RAID1 setup on my system to increase reliability (two Samsung HD642JJ hard drives connected to the ICH10R controller of an MSI P45 Neo-3 FR mainbord).

Much too my surprise the special latest DD10 full build (given by Acronis Support) which supports my ICH10R controller shows both members of the RAID array, i.e. two single drives! The public latest DD10 safe build (2160) does show it as 1 drive though (as I expected).

Surely the full mode behavior is not correct?

Does this mean that ICH10R support is not 100% OK?

You should probably contact support again and let them know. Single drives are showing up properly, but RAID drives aren't.

    That's what I thought...

Chatted with them this morning. Unfortunately I already have their latest version. Only thing to do right now is send them some log files...

Which I'm note sure that I'll do...

Those files contain quite some personal data (like directory names that reveal my projects/customers).

Since the report is just a plain-text file, go ahead and remove any personal information. I don't think they will mind. Acronis is mostly looking for the disk layout and the information in the MBR and any boot sectors.

One of the text files contains binary data as well (probably boot sectors, but still).

I've already mailed them to ask what info is really necessary.
