I have found LARE.EXE on my pc and found out it is a worm of some sort, can anyone tell me how to get rid of it? I also have RS.EXE and BACKWE 1.EXE and am suspicious of those as well. I can't delete LARE.EXE as windows reports file in use by windows.

    Hi scooby,

I see no reason in your log for LARE.exe to be in use.

    Please boot into safe mode
    and rename LARE.EXE to LARE.BAK

You may want to submit it to eTrust since you are using that and see what they have to say.

Your log is nice and clean. :)

    Regards,

    Pieter
