laptop with cellphone?

    What does one do if they have a laptop and a cellphone but, no phone line or cable hookup? How can emails be sent? Expense? Clueless!

    Hi pffphx, welcome to Wilders.

    Do your Laptop and Cell phone have InfraRed? If so you can make a connection that way, doing so will enable connection by direct line of sight (generally within a metre or so) and connection to the internet at a cost per minute/second that is charged by your cell phone carrier.
