When I turn on my computer it takes KIS awhile to show up in the systray. When I click on it there is a window saying "Application loading" Yet it also tells me my computer is protected.
What is loading? It takes a couple of minutes to complete.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

With KIS you are protected from the very start, even before the tray icon shows. Loading refers to the accesibility of the full GUI, which does seem to be very slow.

At least that's been the standard explanation by KIS Forum Moderators for years.

It is always good to be sure if we can. I admit I get impatient for it to load, but it has never let any malware through.

They don't load the GUI on startup to prevent slowdown. That is why you will see that the first time you open it. If they did your boot would be longer by the amount of time it takes to load the GUI.
