    Gentlemen:

I went to their site and downloaded the update for my version which is KS Premium.

After installing the "about" shows 2.9.0.2.

Rule 87 is whenever possible get your downloads direct from the vendor.:D

that may be because you've downloaded ks premium.......the websites still says

    Download KeyScrambler Now

    KeyScrambler 2.9.0 supports Firefox 8 and 9.
Runs in Windows 2000, 2003, and 32-bit and 64-bit versions of XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

and after downloading and installing free ks it says 2.9.0.1 and the prob persists.........that's why I've been in major geeks and softpedia........

I shouldn't say this being a new year in all but "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. OTOH I have paid for SW many times and got zero support.

I believe their are other Key scrambler tools out there?

Ive had the problem with KS not showing green in FF for ages.

I just click the yellow KS icon then click inside the browser and it is then fine.

This problem has persisted through the last few builds (KS Free)

Thanks, on a read of the sales material it seems similar to KeyScrambler.

The only item that jumped out after a very quick scan was their promise to add an unprotected application you or I might find within 10 days.
