Keyboard encryption protection

    My Logitech keyboard has a feature to 'securely encrypt the keyboard'.
    I assume however that this is only effective when there are other computers on a local network, and that it provides no protection against keylogger malware. Is this correct ? :doubt:

    I suppose that the encryption is between the wireless keyboard and the base station.

    Like when you have two computers with same wireless keyboards. That prevents the signals to interfere with one another. Working in an office is an example. Nothing to do with keyloggers.
