Do you have to have Keriver image installed in oder to use or can you make and restore an image just by using the boot disk without the program installed.

you CAN make and restore an image just by using the boot disk without the program installed.

But you must build a boot disk/ISO first. You can extract from the setup program and make it by yourself or install in Virtual machine and make if you do not want to install on your current system.

If the developer have seen this thread, I hope Keriver Image can mount images in WinPE. Because I have used the PE-plugin to make it into winpe, but it seems does not support mounting image in winpe?!

andylau Thank You for your response. Keriver image is a good program and I think that's how I will use it.

Fwiw, this is/was developed by Horizon DataSys (the Rollback Rx people). It's a 'clone' of their own Drive Cloner Rx.

    Hi Aaron,

What I understand, the owner of Keriver Image and Keriver 1-Click Restore, wrote the program Drive Cloner for Horizon DataSys.

    A perfect copy!

I might be wrong. I believe I read it in one of the threads on this forum.

    Best regards,

    KOR!

    Hi KOR,

That's certainly possible. My information comes from a thread on the HDS forums by an HDS rep. (Nick)...

That wouldn't surprise me - I've seen (read) their marketing hype several times over! :p

Actually, that is factual. As I understand it, Horizon DataSys is the primary retail partner for EAZ Solution. Without question EAZ-FIX and RollBack Rx are clones of one another (other than their branding).

Andy, that is very likely. As I understand their relationship, Horizon DataSys is the primary retail partner for EAZ Solution. Without question EAZ-FIX and RollBack Rx are clones of one another (other than their branding) and they share the same tech-support.
