Keriver 1 Click restore Free heads up

    I messed up something in 1 Keriver 1 click restore free that been on for quite some time now.I went to reinstall it back from the author but the free version is redirected to cnet and has been flagged by OA hips as malware.I uploaded from my download folder to VT and has been checked already with results of six detections. I rechecked it and now 10 scanners are picking up on it.ESET, kaspersky, drweb etc.It may be False positives but I tend to doubt it because the detection is going up.Just a heads up just in case any in thinking about it.

    Yes, i get the same results from VT. Seems to be related with cnet downloader and not with the keriver installer itself. The downloader is signed by CBS interactive.

    Yes and jotti gets 6 hits as well but whats kinda strange kaspersky says nothing found with jotti.On that note, I appreciate free offerings from vendors, but I wish they would stop redirecting the installers and keep it in house.:(

    It's that stupid downloader. It's not the first time I've seen that with it.
