Kerio Firewall Configuration

    I have been playing around with this firewall and denied such things as:

    DHCP
    DNS
    VPN
    Broadcasts
    Ping and tracert out
    Ping and tracert in
    internet group and management protocol
    other ICMP packets


    I have also denied in NIPS

    High medium and low priority



    Like I said I am just playing around and based on my limited knowledge denying access to as much as possible is better protection. Have I instead compromised my firewall so I am not as protected?

    Meanwhile, can you post your ruleset?

    I don't see how you can connect to a website if you deny DHCP and DNS.
