    Hi moontan
Yes I did learn that only the paid versions protect KeePass. And I purchased the Premium version.
As for failed drag & drop, there's a lot going on there in the way of culprits, and I don't have the patience to test it all out thoroughly. I did some initial investigation, but then life intervened. :)
    My conclusions are as follows...
KeePass forums have lots of posts about d&d failure. I read some and then stopped reading.
Chrome seems to be a culprit as well, as is Sandboxie.
I tried some tests wherein I opened Chrome unsandboxed and d&d did not work.
I tried a couple times with Internet Explorer and I don't think that worked either.
At some point I decided I needed to allow investigation to cease, you know?
But I feel like I covered the hole, however small it was.
    :)

    anyway,

Password Depot is now at version 6 but are offering version 4 for free.
why don't you give it a try?

    http://www.softwareload.co.uk/password-depot-for-free.html

there's a virtual keyboard to enter data and it has very good clipboard protection.

for what it's worth, i had problems whit drag & drop when using not only Sandboxie but Geswall and others.
if i remember correctly, drag & drop fails as well with LUA + SRP.

over aggressiveness from security apps always impact convenience, unfortunately.

    Cause I'm good.
    I've got KeyPass and KeyScrambler.
Did I forget to mention that? ;)

    it's a good setup.

i like S10 and Password Depot features better but it all depends on one's need.
my top priority when it comes to these things is custom fields and how it's integrated in the app.

You can also set "Global Auto-Type" feature in KP.
Go to Tools menu > Options > Integration tab, then click in Global auto-type field and press key combination you want to be trigger for auto-type KP's feature. When you are on selected website - click in the Login field first then press combination of keys that you choose.

I own three paid password managers, and this is how I rank them.

    1. AIRofoform
    2. Sticky Password
    3. Password Depot

    Best regards,

    KOR!

BTW, Sticky Password automatically fills the fields, you don't have to do anything.

AIRoboform form has Passwords (web and windows applications), Indentities (credit cards, driver lincenses, passports and so forth) and Safenotes.

No need to Drag and Drop, Copy and Paste as it automatically fills the feilds. It has fill forms and fill submit (no need to hit return key).

Sticky Password does exactly the same as AIRoboform, but it more stronger on Passwords and weaker on Indentities.

    Best regards,

    KOR!

Both have plugins for Explorer, Firefox and Chrome!

How does "enter master key in a secure desktop" matter then if KP is only protected with the KS paid version?
