My latest OCS-Mag contribution. What do you get when you combine the words KDE with Connect? You get KDE Connect, a program that lets you remotely control your smartphone from your desktop, and the other way around. Could be interesting, right?

I've been using KDE Connect for quite awhile now. Features are device dependent. I have a touch pad (TelePad) that can't use a lot of the features because of its android version.

Right now I am typing this sentence from my Galaxy S4. Back to the PC keyboard. Right now this feature in my mind is more of a novelty item. I can see it's usefulness if they eventually allow responding to SMS.

It also can interface with other KDE Connect machines not just cell phones. Though I have not tried it. My sons computer is an available device.
