KB2699988 freeze IE9

    Yeah, that is probably what has happened.
    But simply upgrading DFX to the latest version won't remove the IE component without uninstalling DFX first.
    At least, that is what I found.

    I think,they only re-signed and released new installer with no IE and posted as 10.138 on their site :thumbd:

    I think the problem has been fixed with latest version (v.10.139)
    but Help >About DFX still show v.10.137

    No more hang or freeze IE9 here.

    sure,I did.

    all component checked and IE9 running fine :thumb:

    Strange.
    I just tried it, and the IE component is greyed out for me, and won't let me install it.

    How does that show that the IE component is installed?
    The DFX interface sits in the tray for many other applications that it supports.

    IE9 running FINE after DFX updated to v.139. It means IE component has no conflict at all.

    Unfortunately,I forgot to take screenshots while upgrading to v.139. But I'm so sure all components checked (IE,FF,Chrome,Winamp,WMP),nothing left :D

    Did you try quick installation,no custom install ?

    There is no IE DFX component working for me.
    But I am happy with that as I don't use IE much.

    Chrome as my main browser

    at least, I have either,IE9 & DFX, stay updated.
