kav and firewalls

HI
I am thinking of getting kav and using a third party firewall.

anyone using kav and look "n" stop? and do you need to change anything to make it work with it?

also i want to see what firewall that work well with kav from personal experience

You asked this question in the Kaspersky forum just a couple of hour ago about Kav & LookNstop and got a positive response from those that actually use the combo.

 

i got looknstop and kav happily running together. no issues yet.

 

I've also ran kav and Looknstop together. And they run very good with each other. No conflicts. I should point out that I run Kav 5.0 personal, and not the latest kav 6.0 version.

I only trialed looknstop for about 2 weeks and didn't purchase it. Fine firewall, but I'm a kerio 2.1.5. fan..and it's free.

 

I am running KAV6 with LnS with no conflicts.

No, I am using it with the OTB with the Enhanced Rule Set.
It may not be so bad now, but the only firewalls that KAV6 had the most conflicts were Outpost, and Zone Alarm.

Don can comment on the current situation, but LnS seems to run well with KAV.

Sorry, Just noticed this thread. I use KAV6 and LookNStop together with no problems.

 

OutPost works really well with KAV. No problems at all.

 

to avoid conflicts i might try kis 6.0. so then my real time protection will be kis6.0 and spysweeper but might then turn off some of spysweepers shields
