KAV 6.0 plus Windows Defender

    We have Vista Business edition. It comes with Windows Defender. We also run KAV 6. Do I need to run both? Can I safely not run Windows Defender?

    windows defender doesnt add much protection so its safe to disable it.

    Thanks for the reply. We really like KAV6, and it seems they are intent on keeping up the good work with responsiveness to the ActiveX system info discovery routines being rewritten to not use ActiveX. We like that too. :thumb:

    ye im a big fan of kaspersky as well and use it on my main pc.
    i have even beta tested kis6.0 on my old pc and the new features are great.
    it can only get better and better
