    Does anyone know if KAV online scan cleans infections or is for detection only? I didn't notice it saying either way, although I read the part about not scanning RAM, boot sectors, and MBR.

    Hi jonnypop :), Kaspersky Webscan will clean any infection it finds.

    Except memory,boot sectors and MBR...
    Lacks memory scanner and it isn't low level enough to work with boot sectors/MBR. Otherwise it has full detection and cleaning capability.
