    Anyone tried it yet?
Is the engine actually the same as the current one?
( Press Release seems to tell a different story )

AFAIK it is the exact same engine as used in current Kaspersky 8.0 products, only possibly with new beta heuristics engine that will be made available eventually to users of Windows XP and Vista too.

    Hi,

The "Win7" version is currently a Kaspersky WKS beta, aka the new business products that will be released Q1 2009.

Its similar to KAV/KIS 2009 but has a different PDM structure (it's better than KAV 2009 in some ways) and looks like is the first product to undergo testing for Win7 out of the Kaspersky line. Of course all home user products will be updated for Win7 nearer the time.

    this forum is biased!
instead of opening yet another '<Av> on windows 7' thread, just thought id post it in here, you dont mind do you? :)

Drweb SS doesnt work on V5, i had some big problems installing, the new windows obviously wouldnt allow drwebs self protection to access the places it needed.
