Kaspersky offers 50% discount as new antivirus nears

    FYI all,

    I tried a test order of KAV 6.x using the "coupon code" PCPRO50 as stated via/in the PcPro website; it DOESN'T WORK yet.......

    I suspect that after V7 is on the US market that we will see stores such as Best Buy selling V6 that with rebates will be free or almost so.o_O

    Now I can go for that.:D

    Since the discount is being offered for Ver 6, upgrade to ver 7 may not be in the package. Those of us who bought into the same kinda deal with Systweak, are not able to upgrade to ver 7. So buyer beware!!!!!

    Edit. Due to this unethical move on Kaspersky part, I uninstalled it and am now using Nod32 instead.

    no offense but what are you talking about. The 50 percent discount is from the Kaspersky store. Even if it is Version 6 it will upgrade to 7.

    Careful now, the software may not work .. At all.
    Kis6 doesn't work on my machine, xp nor vista, format doesn't do a thing either.

    While this is getting slightly OT, the best advice is usually to install the trial version before reaching into one's wallet. Once satisfied that KAV V6 works well on your machine, perhaps this discount is not a bad deal...
