I can confirm the problem with both KAV 5 and KAV 6 beta. When I first go to the site, mirror_plugin.exe is found to be a trojan. But later, when I go, there is no notification. File is still found by NOD32, Fortinet, McAfee, and Dr. Web. What is up, I wonder?

Now, I just went to the page again in my test and downloaded the file. KAV detected this time.

Should I submit the undetected version to KAV, or is the file sometimes getting corrupted but still found by some scanners?

Submit it via the supporttab, no harm done if they already have.

If it is corrupted you will see this in reports as 'Processing error'. :)

I submitted it through KAV 5's console. I'm sure they will sort things out. :)

Detection of the file was added.

The site I went to for testing pop-ups a prompt to download the file mirror_plugin.exe each time you go to the site. Maybe the site would have slightly different variations, despite the file's name being the same.
