scan encrypted connections causes this on a lot of sites: " page can't be displayed, make sure the web address is correct. If I uncheck scan encrypted connections, there are no problems.
Can someone tell me if it is okay to not scan encrypted connections?

Info says scanning of encrypted connections is required to run URL advisor.

    Running windows 8 & IE10

Yes, it's safe to disable 'scan encrypted connections' if you are facing such issue.

On the other hand, the url advisor was still working as intended despite of disabling the above setting on my KAV 2016 (when I had it installed). I'm not sure about the KIS version. I'm running Win 10 Pro.

Thank you very much for your response. I'll try to test the url advisor, as you mentioned that it still worked for you.
