Kaspersky 6.0 firewall question

Hi,

Please forgive my non-advanced knowledge of computer security for a moment. Much of what I have read here makes me think that KIS 6 would be a nice, comprehensive suite for a novice like myself.

Unfortunately, when I installed the trial on my home PC, it instantly took away my ability to dial out on my VPN connection to my office PC. Everything else in the trial seems very nice, though, so I'm hoping that one of you could gracefully point me to the settings in the KIS 6 firewall that would restore that ability.
