    HEY
can anybody tell me the performance of AVS and its realtime protection.
I saw in this forum that many people are using lot of security softwares as to make their own security suite.I mean they are using not only antivirus or security suite but also many antispywares etc.

My question is that if want to use that much softwares then why cant use basic antivirus like AVS(which uses kaspersky engine) and other antispyware stuffs with it in realtime monitoring mode or on demand.
I know it dont have web antivirus like in kaspersky, but if an antispyware is installed with it(with realtime monitoring) then it will be same as kaspersky with web antivirus i think.

    Hi pravbk:

AVS does contain an antispyware component that can be activated from the gui. Since I switched over to the k-meleon browser, however, I never had a chance to see the antispyware in action. I only used SAS and A2 on demand occasionally. Two things about AVS though, do not download the AOL toolbar, and be careful if you enable the riskware function. It may flag programs you either need or want.

with prevx and avs running realtime you wont need realtime antispyware.
just do say a weekly scan with superantispyware free version.
    link in my sig.

first I want to say that I love AVS, never had a virus since installation, I only wish it was always free, I guess 1yr is still very generous of AOL.

Go back and request a new keycode, then once your current one expires you can use the unactivated keycode and get another year.
