    Hello all,

Ive installed sp2 on xp home and have the windows firewall running. Now i have installed jetico's latest release and have done my custom rules. I didnt disable windows firewall and both seem to be working well with each other. both are active and both their logs are definatly flagging stuff which seems good. I was wondering if ther were any considerations i should be aware of or look out for?
Is there anybody else, with the same combination?

    cheers

If you are running Jetico then I would turn off the Windows Firewall as it will just be redundantly filtering inbound traffic. You don't need it with Jetico running. JPF should handle everything fine.

  3. Hi, yes, as kerodo says, Jetico is enaugh from ingonig and outgoing protection, you better try to protect your system from malware instalation, with programas as RegDefend, RegWatcher, spy the spy and others like a good antivirus and antitrojan program.
