I tried Jetico FW and didn't want it (I have a hardware FW, Alphashield).

I uninstalled but the the Jetico Harware Monitor comes up in the Device Manager under Netweork Adapters and cannot be uninstalled or otherwsie removed. Going to regedit doesn't help.

    Where is this thing lodged?
How can I get rid of it?
Why would someone make this prog. so that it remains resident?

    Thanks

    Hello machold,

Is this the "Jetico Beta" you installed? Which version.

    What OS (XP? sp?)

Thanks for the reply. Running XPPro SP2.
Can't remember which jetico it was, sorry.
Cannot find any reference to this "adapter" in the Registry. Is it a dll?

Go into the windows services (windows start-> run, type, services.msc), look down the list. Is there an entry for Jetico?
