I've installed and configured JPF 1.0.1.61 on a Win XP Pro SP2 with patches. I'm very happy with JPF, apart from the fact that, when I'm running my VPN client, after a shorter or longer while (at least within a day), my machine all of sudden reloads/boots. There is no BSOD, or anything in the Windows logs that explains the reload. The machine just reloads without a trace in logs of dumpfile :-(
(My computer is NOT configured to restart when system faults occurs).

Before the reload, everything runs just fine. I have no denied packets related to the VPN client at the network or application levels at all.
I cannot see any clear pattern regarding what application that might trigger
the reload at the moment of the reload. The machine has reloaded when I've run IE, Firefox or even PuTTY.

Could this behaviour be caused by a software or driver conflict?
If so, how come everything runs smoothe for nearly a day (sometimes)
then all of a sudden the machine reloads?
At other times the machine can reload right after executing firefox and it loads all the saved windows from the former session.

Or does all this have to do with some critical resources in Windows that runs out of space,, or somehing like that?? (Can any registry settings be tuned ?)

Besides the VPN client I have Avast running with web shield enabled.
have tried disabling the web shield with no difference...

Looking forward to some helpful hints/recommendations to mitigate this!
    Many thanks in advance!
